WHAT WE DO...........

CARING CANINES is a local non-profit making voluntary group working in the community helping people of all ages to understand dogs and be confident in their company

We offer the medical profession the assistance of our assessed, vaccinated and insured pets to help overcome fear of dogs, to break down barriers and to enhance the lives of those people who miss animal companionship.

Our teams of hard working, experienced volunteers also visit establishments to talk about dog owner`s responsibilities, safety around dogs and how and from where to get further help and advice.

Our special dogs are a very important and integral part of people`s lives, whether it be a nursing home, a hospice, a hospital, a day centre or a school.

NON VISITING members are a very important part of the group and we endeavour to "buddy" them up with a Visiting Team so they can experience first hand the work of our wonderful CARING CANINES .......involved in all our fund raising, awareness and social events the yearly calender is very varied and has something that everybody will enjoy

If you are interested in our work, would like to book a speaker to hear more, or feel you could offer us practical support to continue providing our FREE Community Service please call either of the Founders Sue or Julie
